Spotted outside of Cirque Lodge just after Christmas, MNM's publicist says she checked herself in for "exhaustion" but inside sources tell Hollywood Insider that friends have seen this coming since mid-October, and that the infamous Manolo Challenger is not suffering from everyday workout exhaustion. "We tried to tell her that her 'vitamins' - which is her name for various diet pills -- mixed with Ambien was not a good idea. They are both addictive." Said DD, a longtime pal and confidant. Zolpidem, the powerful sleep agent and hypnotic, was increasingly being used by MNM over the past 3 months, to counteract the effects of the uppers she was abusing to lose weight. Commonly known as diet pills, these uppers are also known as "speed" on street corners around the U.S. When Canadian authorities refused to sell MNM her stash, she found an underground dealer on the streets of NYC to provide late night door-to-door deliveries to her Manhattan apartment. "Who knows how she was even paying for all that. I was just so worried," said her good friend, KG. Other friends suspected she was on steriods. "As she became increasingly irritable, nasty and rude, I first suspected it was 'roid rage.' " said close friend KS. "I thought it was 'roid rage' as well, but then when her voice didn't deepen as we predicted, I knew it had to be uppers." said fellow Manolo Challenger, JK. Unfortunately, she was enchanted and brainwashed by her roommate who is still in the fetus stage of cognitive development, who fervently encouraged her to begin her illegal purchase of said pills. MNM was also bilked for thousands of dollars from the website from which she purchased her pills, known to be organized by a canadian-nigerian identity theft ring. Friends are bracing themselves for the lawsuit that MNM's family is sure to bring to the fetus, estimated to be in the millions. For now, the family is holding vigil by MNM's bedside as she fights her most courageous battle yet.
